      Richard A. Retzlaff

      Richard A. Retzlaff, 86, 215 Grand Ave., Merrill, died Saturday, Oct. 8, 2005, at Good Samaritan Health Center, Merrill.
      Richard had been a self-employed barber in Philips.
      Survivors include four daughters, Patricia Turner and Kathy (Patrick B.) Woller, both of Merrill, Sharon Groff, Wausau and Sandra (Brad) Sutton, Chetek; three sons, Richard (Caroline) Retzlaff, Marshfield, James (Julie) Retzlaff, Helena, Mont., and Michael (Eileen) Retzlaff, Amelia, Ohio; 18 grandchildren and 11 great-grandchildren; three sisters, Faye (Ervin) Anderson, Catawba, Delores (Robert) Weber, Algoma and Sara (Dave) Edinger, New Auburn; and one brother, Larry (Annabelle) Retzlaff, Catawba.
      Services will be at 11:30 a.m. Thursday at St. Francis Catholic Church, Merrill. Burial will follow in St. Francis Catholic Cemetery, Merrill. Visitation will be from 10:30 a.m. until service time Thursday at the church Taylor-Stine Funeral Home, Merrill, is assisting the family.
