    • Chilton Times - June 2, 1938. Peter Ecker Dies at Fondy Hospital. Stockbridge - Peter Ecker, 67, died at St. Agnes hospital, Fond du Lac, Wednesday night after an illness of several months. He was born April 11, 1871 at Houghton, Mich., and was married to Miss Anna Gilles June 4, 1895. Mr. Ecker was town chairman here for a number of years and a trustee of St. Mary's church of which he was a devoted member. He is survived by his wife, four sons, Leo, Fond du Lac; Will, Chilton town; Gregory, Elkhart Lake, and Clemons at home; three daughters, Mrs. Ed. Butler, Roseburg, Ore.; Mrs. Leander Daun, Chilton; and Esther at home. Funeral services were held Monday at 10 a.m. At St. Mary's church, the Rev. M. Gonnering officiating. Burial was in the church cemetery.
