      Robert F. Ashauer 625 S. Christine St. Appleton

      Age 75, died unexpectedly on Monday, January 11, 1999. Robert was born on October 20, 1923, in Appleton to the late Michael and Susan [Vander Wyst] Ashauer. He married the former Rosemary Perdzock on June 7, 1958, in Appleton. She preceded him in death on February 5, 1982. Robert was employed at Consolidated Papers Inc. of over 30 years, retiring in 1982.

      Survivors include a daughter, Joan [William] Jackson, Racine; a grandson, Brian Jackson, Racine; and a granddaughter, Kimberly Jackson, Racine.

      He was preceded in death by an infant son, Anthony Robert Ashauer, and a sister, Ruth Jonen.

      The funeral liturgy will be held at 11 a.m. Thursday, January 14, 1999, at St. Bernadette Catholic Church, Appleton with Father John Holly, OFM Cap., officiating. Intermint will be in St. Joseph Cemetery. Friends may call at the Wichmann Funeral Home on Wednesday from 4-8 p.m. and again from 10 a.m. until the time of services. There will be a parish prayer and scripture service on Wednesday at 7 p.m.
