    • Joseph Nicholas "Joe" Theyel, age 85 of Guthrie, Oklahoma passed away September 20, 2016 in Oklahoma City, Oklahoma. He was born on September 19, 1931 in Appleton, Wisconsin to Joseph and Florence Theyel.

      Joe was a Veteran of the United States Army. He retired from Lyntone Belt where he was employed as a department manager. He was a member of St. Mary's Catholic Church and the Knights of Columbus. Joe enjoyed working in the yard.

      Survivors include his wife Wanda, children Richard Theyel and wife Anne of Guthrie, Donna Stubblefield and husband Jim of Oklahoma City and Jack Theyel and wife Brenda of Roosevelt. He is also survived by his sister Lucille Van, 3 grandchildren and 2 great grandchildren.

      Memorial Mass of Christian Burial will be held at 10:30 AM, Monday, September 26, 2016 at St. Mary's Catholic Church with Rev. James Wickersham officiating. Services are under the direction of Hayes Funeral Home.
