- Miss Anna Holl, 82, Rt. 1, Suring, died Tues., Jan 4. She was born Sept 29, 1894 in Hayes, the daughter of the late Mr. and Mrs. John Holl. (John and Veronica Kurz Holl).
She was a lifetime resident of Hayes, and helped her parents operate their general store in Hayes from 1908 until her father's death in 1936. She owned and operated the same store from 1935 to the present. She was a member of St. Michael's Catholic Church, Suring, and was a
member of the Alter Society. She was also an honorary member of the local 4-H club, and the FFA.
Survivors include one brother, John, Hayes, and one sister, Mrs. Elizabeth Wagner, Green Bay.
Two brothers and two sisters preceded her in death. (Margaret Renier, Catherine Philippi, Jacob and Joseph Holl)
Funeral services will be held Fri., Jan 7 at 11 am at St. Michael's Catholic Church, Suring, with Rev. Adolph Dolezel officiating. Burial will be in the church cemetery.
Friends may call at the Soulek Funeral Home, Suring, after 3 pm on Thursday. A Prayer service will be held Thursday at 8pm at the funeral home.
