    • Maggie was listed as a 20 year old Servant Girl on death records. Her cause of death was "Typhoid Fever" in Marinette where she was working for the Thyure family. She was engaged to marry Nick Ehlinger of Oconto County at the time of her death. They posed for an engagement photo just prior to her death. Family history says she had gone back to Marinette to pick up her wedding gown and contracted the disease at that time. Death came within hours and she could not get home. Word arrived to family after she had passed. J. Kuegbel is listed as the person returning the death certificate. Maggie Holl had a gravestone that elderly family descendants remember visiting when they were children. As with most of the "Old Cemetery" gravestones at Holy Martyrs of Gorcum, her stone is no longer visible and believed to have fallen on the steep hill, grown over by sod.
