    • Mrs. Melinda Pieper, 78, a resident of 926 Erie Ave., died at her home Sunday morning after a prolonged illness.

      She was born Sept. 24, 1907, the daughter of Karl and Caroline Dickmann Dekarsky.

      On Nov. 13, 1926, she was married to Walter Pieper at St. Paul Lutheran Evangelical Church, Sheboygan Falls. He died in 1966.

      She was a member of St. Paul Lutheran Evangelical Church.

      Survivors includes nieces and nephews.

      She was preceded in death by three brothers and two sisters.

      Friends may call at Zimmer Funeral Home, Howards Grove, from 4 until 8 p.m. on Tuesday.

      Services will be conducted at 8 p.m. Tuesday at the funeral chapel by the Rev. Henry Juroff, pastor of St. Paul Evangelical Lutheran Church. Burial will be in the church cemetery.

      A memorial fund has been established in Mrs. Pieper's name.
