      Age 53 , died at 5:15 Friday night at his home after a 1 1/2 year illness. He was born January 4, 1904 in Grand Rapids, Minnesota. He Worked at the Kimberly-Clark mill for 28 years.

      Funeral services will be held at 9 o'clock Monday morning at Holy Cross Catholic Church, Kaukauna, with burial in the parish cemetery. Freinds may call after 7 o'clock tonight at the Greenwood Funeral Home, Kaukauna, where the rosary will be held at 8o'clock tonight and Sunday night.

      He is survived by his widow: one daughter, Marion at home; one son Jack, Kaukauna; five brothers, Carl and Tony, both of Kaukauna, Albert, Menasha, Peter, Rib Lake, and Ted, Oceanside, California; and three sisters, Mrs. William Vogels, Kaukauna, Mrs. John Schinker, Rib Lake, and Mrs. Wilbert Remter, Wrightstown.
