    • Debra A. "Debbie" Nichols, 66, Sobieski, died Tuesday, August 8, 2017. She was born on June 1, 1951, to Dale and Jackie (VerDoot) Verheyden.

      Debbie was a graduate of Ashwaubenon High School, Class of 1969. On September 28, 1974, she married John Nichols at Nativity of Our Lord Catholic Church.

      Her family was her top priority. Debbie and John together, built a home, raised a family, spent time up north and never left each other's side. She attended all of her children's sporting events. Debbie loved her grandchildren, and going to her second home up north. She enjoyed spending time with her children and grandchildren, taking pontoon rides, fishing, enjoying the lake and making memories. Debbie will be remembered as a very loving, giving person who put others first.

      She is survived by her husband, John; children and their spouses, Johnny (Jessica) Nichols, Scott (Jocelyn) Nichols, Mark Nichols; six grandchildren, Brandon, Peyton, Tierra, Myla, Liam, Brynlee; siblings, Gary (Vicki) Verheyden, Craig, (Cindy) Verheyden, Pam (Chuck) DeMoulin, Sandy (Victor) Tomesek; nieces, nephews, other relatives and many friends.

      Debbie was preceded in death by her parents; and her father-in-law and mother-in-law, Harvey and Myrtle Nichols.

      Friends may call at SS. Edward and Isidore Catholic Church, 3667 Flintville Rd., from 9:30 a.m. to 12 noon Saturday, August 12, followed by the Mass of Christian Burial at 12 noon with Rev.
