    • Norbert P. Kersten, 86, Greenleaf, died Saturday, May 29, 1999, at home.
      The son of the late Henry and Petrinella (Kempen) Kersten was born January 19, 1913, in Brillion. He married Florence Diny on April 22, 1941, at St. Mary's Catholic Church, Greenleaf; she preceded him in death on October 27, 1984. Norbert farmed all of his life in Greenleaf.
      Survivors include his ten children and their spouses, Cathy and Randy Olejniczak; Rita and Dick Koltz; Irene and Tom Strenn; Doris and Don Wegand; Joe and Evie Kersten; Paul and Gail Kersten; Linda and Bernie Vander Heiden; Mary and Andy Hassemer; Lou Ann and Warren Rueden; Dave and Bernetta Kersten; 59 grandchildren; 25 great-grandchildren; two brothers, Irvin and Peter Kersten; and one sister, Josephine Roder.
      He was preceded in death by his parents; his wife, Florence; and one brother, John Kersten.
      Family and friends may call from 4 to 6 p.m. Tuesday at St. Mary's Catholic Church, Greenleaf. Mass of Christian Burial at 6 p.m. on Tuesday at the church with the Rev. Bob Kabat officiating. Burial to follow in the church cemetery. DeWane/Cotter Funeral Home, Wrightstown, is assisting the family with arrangements.
