    • Winske, Ruth - Our loving mother, Ruth C. Winske, 88, Appleton, passed away Saturday, October 28, 2006, at St. Elizabeth Hospital, Appleton. She was born March 19, 1918, in Fennimore, daughter of Willard and Wilma (Schwartz) Bray.
      Mrs. Winske is survived by her children: Richard Houfek, Appleton; Cookie Berner, Appleton; Ron Houfek, White Lake; Jim Winske, Neenah; Bonnie Winske, Appleton; grandchildren, great-grandchildren, nieces and nephews.
      She was preceded in death by her husbands: Ray Houfek Sr. and Walter Winske; sons: Ray Houfek Jr. and David Winske; sister, Rachel Weyenberg; brother, Don Bray.
      In accordance with Ruth's wishes, no services will be held.
      Ruth's family wishes to thank the staff and Drs. Of 2nd floor at St. Elizabeth Hospital for their loving and compassionate care.
