- Mrs. Funk, 79 Expires After Brief Illness
Funeral Rites Set For Resident of Hickory Street
Mrs. Frances Funk, 79, 60 N. Hickory St.. died at 4:20 p.m. Friday at St. Agnes Hospital after a brief illness.
Born Oct. 15, 1885, in Fond du Lac County, she was the daughter of William and Gertrude Sabel Ditter. She was married to Charles F. Funk June 2, 1908, in Fond du,Lac,
The couple lived in Grandmarsh for 20 years, then moved to Oakfield, and finally moved back to Fond du Lac in 1945.
She Is survived by three daughters, Mrs. Jess Wallace of Beloit, Mrs. William Kollmann of the Town of Eldorado and Mrs. Walter Kollmann of Iron Ridge; four sons, Omar H. Funk of Washington, Louis L. Funk of Rockgrove, III., Harry W. Funk of Chandler. Ariz.. and Edward J. Funk of North Fond du Lac; four brothers, Joseph, Eugene, Walter and Charles Ditter, all of Kaukauna; three sisters, Sister William of Manitowoc, Sister Romanus of Manitowoc and Mrs. Howard Campbell of Kaukauna; 35 grandchildren, and 22 great•grandrhildren.
She was preceded In death by her husband Jan. 27, 1950, and by a son.
Friends may call after 3 p.m. Monday a the Candlish Chapel. Funeral services will be held at 1:30 p.m. Tuesday at the Candlish Chapel, Rev. Ray Whitton officiating. Burial will be in Estabrooks Cemetery.

Funeral services for Mrs. Frances Funk, who died Friday, were at 1:30 p.m. Tuesday at the Candlish Chapel, Rev. Ray Whitton officiating. Mrs. Watson Waehler was organist and Mrs. June Koenigs, soloist. Burial was in Estabrooks Cemetery. Pallbearers were August Kollmann. Glen Kollman. Roger Funk, Robert Funk, Wayne Funk and Harold Funk.
