LEO WITT, MEMBER OF APPLETON FIRE DEPT. 17 YEARS SUCCOMBS
Leo Witt, 41, 1920 S. Adams Street, a lifetime resident of Appleton, and a member of the Appleton fire department for the last 17 years, died at 1 o'clock this morning after an illness of two days. He was born August 11, 1905.
Funeral services will be held at 11 o'clock Saturday morning at Sacred Heart Catholic church, the cortege forming at Wichmann Funeral home at 10;30. Burial will be in St. Joseph cemetery. Friends may call after 7 o'clock tonight at the funeral home where the rosary will be recited at 8 o'clock tonight and Friday night.
Survivors are his wife; his mother, Mrs. Charles Witt, Appleton; three brothers, Walter, Appleton, Raymond, Kaukauna, and Charles, Omro; and three sisters, Mrs. Carl Simon and Miss Mildred Witt, Appleton, and Mrs. Harry Schneider, Milwaukee.
