      RAYMOND C. WITT
      2302 N. Meade St.
      Age 65, passed away Thursday after a lingering illness. He was born August 4, 1901 and had been a resident of the Appleton area all his life. He was employed at Thilmany Pulp Company as a papermaker for 44 years prior to his retirement 3 1/2 years ago. Mr. Witt is survived by his wife, Evelyn; one brother Charles, Neenah; two sisters, Mrs. Carl (Hannah) Simon and Miss Mildred Witt, both of Appleton. Funeral services will be held at 2 p.m. Saturday at Zion Lutheran Church with the Rev. W. H. Gammelin officiating. interment will be in Highland Memorial Park. Friends may call at the Wichmann Funeral Home after 3 p.m. Friday until 9:30 a.m. Saturday and then at the church until the hour of the service.
