      224 S. Outagamie St.
      Age 75, died at 11:05 p.m. Wednesday following an extended illness. He was born December 31, 1906 in Appleton and was an area resident all of his life. Mr. Simon had been employed by the Fox River Paper Company for 42 years and had retired in 1972. He was a U.S. Navy veteran and served on PT boats during World War II. Survivors include his wife, Hannah Witt Simon; a brother, Harold, Appleton; three sisters: Mrs. Don (Mildred) Larson, Appleton; Mrs. William (Margaret) Wirkus, Milwaukee; and Mrs. Mabel Morey, Chicago. He was preceded in death by three brothers, Erwin, Raymond and Gordon. The complete funeral will be at 2 p.m. Saturday at the Zion Lutheran CHurch, with Rev. M.W. Bulgerin and the Rev. Leon Knitt officiating. Interment will be in Highland Memorial Park. Friends may call from 4 to 9 p.m. Friday and at the church after 10 a.m. Saturday until the hour of the service. A memorial fund is being established.
