- Hamann Service
Services for Carl Hamann, 77, of 1713 Central St., will be held Monday at 1:30 p.m. at Konrad Funeral Home, with the Rev. Ortwin Hanson, pastor of First Assembly of God Church, officiating. Burial will be in Lakeview Memorial Park.
Friends may call at the funeral home Sunday from 3-9 p.m.
He was born in Oshkosh on April 30, 1892, son of Mr. and Mrs. Frederick Hamann, and was married to Miss Theresa Baier, who preceded him in death in 1924. On March 15, 1930, he was married to Ida Beyer, who died Aug. 7, 1965.
He Hamann had been employed at the Neenah Foundry for 24 years before retiring 12 years ago. He was a member of First Assembly of God Church.
Surviving are two sons, John Hamann, Garden Grove, Calif., and Fred Hamann, Oshkosh; five stepsons, Clarence and Charles Beyer, Neenah, Gordon and Hubert Beyer, Oshkosh and Marvin Beyer, Pico Diveria, Calif.; six daughters, Mrs. Harvey Frue, Mrs. Clarence Schaedfer, Mrs. Melvin Rates, Oshkosh, Mrs. Howard Messner, Sheboygan Falls, Mrs. Joseph Kneisel, Newport Rickey, Fla., and Mrs. Melvin Nelson, Whitter, Calif.; 34 grandchildren.
