    • Dolores M. Klingeisen, age 83, of 13524 Highway JJ, Cato, died Friday evening, April 17, 2009, at her residence.

      Dolores was born Sept. 23, 1925, in the town of Meeme, daughter of the late Henry and Elizabeth (Baer) Binversie. On Sept. 22, 1945, she married Lester Klingeisen at Holy Trinity, School Hill. Dolores was a member of St. Mary Catholic Church, Clarks Mills, the Marion Council and the church choir. She also volunteered at the church school and Holy Family Memorial Medical Center in Manitowoc. Dolores was a Eucharistic minister at St. Mary's and Holy Family Memorial Medical Center. She enjoyed dancing and was a member of the Happy Hoppers Dance Club with her husband for many years. Dolores also enjoyed playing cards. She spent most of her retired years making rosaries for the missions, which were distributed worldwide and numbered 101,189.

      Survivors include her husband: Lester Klingeisen, Cato; five sons and three daughters-in-law: Father Richard Klingeisen, Manitowoc, Allen and Kathy Klingeisen, Reedsville, Reinard and Jodi Klingeisen, Sobieski, Joseph Klingeisen, Clarks Mills, Gerald and Debra Klingeisen, Cato; six daughters and five sons-in-law: Carol and Russell Schuler, Sheboygan Falls, Ann and Dan Eisner, Manitowoc, Susan Klingeisen, Kaukauna, Doris and Kenneth Eisner, Allenton, Janice and Michael Lettenberger, Manitowoc, Mary Kay and Richard Hoffman, Manitowoc; 26 grandchildren and 14 great-grandchildren; three brothers and two sisters-in-law: Herman Binversie, Robert Binversie, Stanley and Kay Binversie, Mrs. Eugene (Fay)Binversie; three sisters and brothers-in-law: Irene and James Ziegelbauer, Virginia, and Dean Brennan, Janet and Gordon Seichter; brother-in-law:
      Clarence Klingeisen; three sisters-in-law: Lillian Savage, Violet Schleis, Mary Ann Preston and her husband Jack; nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends also survive.

      Dolores also was preceded in death by an infant brother: Roman; one brother: Eugene; one sister and brother-in-law: Leona and George Ziegelbauer; two sisters-in-law: Janet Binversie and Florence Binversie; she was preceded further in death by brothers-in-law and sisters-in-law: Robert Klingeisen and his wife, Agnes, Clarence Savage, Alois Schleis, Rosella Miller and her husband, Wilfred, Irene Klingeisen; also preceded in death by nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends.

      Funeral services will be held at 11 a.m. Tuesday, April 21, 2009, at St. Mary's Catholic Church, Clarks Mills. To celebrate her Mass of Christian Burial will be her son, the Rev. Richard Klingeisen. Concelebrating at the Mass will be Bishop Robert Morneau, the Rev. David Zimmerman and fellow priests. Entombment will be at Knollwood Mausoleum, Highway
      310, Manitowoc. The family will greet relatives and friends at St. Mary's Catholic Church, Clarks Mills from 4 to 8 p.m. Monday, April 20, 2009, where a prayer service will conclude the visitation at 8 p.m. The visitation will continue at church from 9 to 10:30 a.m. Tuesday.

      In lieu of flowers, the family is requesting memorials be made in Dolores's name to St. Mary's Catholic Church or the church school in Clarks Mills.

      The Christianson & Deja Funeral Home, Valders, is assisting the family with funeral arrangements.

      The family wishes to express their gratitude to all who helped in the care of Dolores and prayed for her and her family during the end of her life journey.
