    • Estelle "Stella" Lorenz, having recently celebrated her 90th Birthday, entered into eternal rest on Saturday, April 5th, 2008 at the Calumet Homestead, New Holstein. She was born February 25, 1918, to the late Lorena (Seichter) & Otto Ludwig.
      Estelle married Lester Lorenz on Oct. 2, 1940 at St. Mary's Catholic Church (now called Good Shepherd) in Chilton.They celebrated 50 Years of marriage in 1990 and then Lester died on Feb 27, 1993.
      Survivors include 8 far-flung children - 6 sons, Jerry, Wide Open Roads; Ed (Kathy) Chilton; Lee, Idaho; Clyde, Alaska; Dan (Trudy) Osceola, WI; and Rick, Chilton, and 2 daughters, Ruth Ann "Mickey" (Don) Ward, Texas, and Lin Lorenz, (husband Jim Stack) Naperville, IL; and one brother, Gerald Ludwig, Chilton.
      Also surviving are 18 grandchildren and 12 great-grandchildren, including a new set of twin great granddaughters born March 29, 2008, and many nieces and nephews.
      Preceding her in death were her parents, her husband, Lester, a sister, Sr. Ruth Marie Ludwig, a sister-in-law Erna Ludwig, and niece Carol Jean Birschbach.
