Age 43, died Monday, January 28, 2002 at his home with his family by his side. He was born March 22, 1958 in Kaukauna, son of the late Thomas J. and Delores (Kurtz) Zornow. Paul was a 1976 graduate of Kaukauna High School. He was a veteran of the U.S. Marine Corps. On August 8, 1992 Paul married the former Jean Hietpas at St. Mary Catholic Church in Kaukauna. He was employed at Kimberly-Clark for 20 years. Paul enjoyed going up north, Four Wheeling and motorcycle riding. He was also an avid Racecar fan. He was a member of Holy Cross Catholic Church, Kaukauna. Survivors include his wife of nine years, Jean, Kaukauna a daughter and son-in-law: Amanda (Jamie) Westphal, Neenah a stepdaughter, Melissa Ludvigsen (fiance Kyle Marks), at home two grandchildren: Christopher and Donavan his maternal grandmother, Ann (nee Krisch) Kurtz, Kaukauna brothers and a sister and their spouses: Thomas (Jean) Zornow, Michael (Debra) Zornow, Dennis (Nancy) Zornow, John (Kay) Zornow, Gary (Peggy) Zornow, Dennis (Nancy) Zornow, John (Kay) Zornow, Gary (Peggy) Zornow, Karl (Jeanine) Zornow, Annette (Steve) Jansch, numerous nieces and nephews. He is further survived by his wife's family. Paul was preceded in death by his paternal grandparents: Willard and Ethel (Mollen) Zornow, maternal grandfather, Norman Kurtz and a granddaughter, Madison Westphal. Funeral services will be 5 p.m. Thursday at Holy Cross Catholic Church, Kaukauna with Fr. Jim Lucas officiating. Burial in the parish cemetery. Complete military rites will immediately follow services at church. Friends may call directly at the church from 2 p.m. Thursday until the time of services. In lieu of flowers, a memorial fund has been established in his name. Boettcher Family Funeral Home, Kaukauna is assisting the family.
