On Friday, May 2, 2025, Alan R. Hietpas of Caledonia, Wisconsin passed away at the age of 71 years. Alan was born in Appleton to the late Paul and Margaret (Opsteen) Hietpas, on September 24, 1953. He married Becky Morehouse on September 23, 1982.

Alan was a truck driver but in his free time, he loved to travel by motorcycle, covering 49 states, just missing Hawaii. He was an outdoorsman, enjoying turkey hunting, deer hunting and fishing. He worked on cars and tractors and was a member of the Fox Valley Two Cylinder Club. Alan loved to pull pranks on his friends and family and he told the best-worst jokes. He had a big heart and was always willing to help people, even buying several people their dinners when out to eat at restaurants.

Alan will be greatly missed by his wife, Becky; his daughter, Amanda; siblings, Bonnie Fischer, Dennis (Agnes) Hietpas, Joanie (Cletus) Hubers, Karen (Dale) Mahnke, Kevin (Karen) Hietpas, Jeanie Zornow, Roy (Carol) Hietpas, Ray Hietpas, Randy (Tammy) Hietpas, Scott (Michelle) Hietpas, Mike (Sandy) Hietpas, Sue (Jeff) Finch, Mary (Jon) Paris; along with numerous nephews, nieces and other family members and friends.
