- Margaret M. Landreman, Tamaqua, PA, formerly of Kaukauna, age 95, died Friday, August 12, 2005 at Orwigsburg Manor, Orwigsburg, PA. Margaret was born on March 3, 1910 to the late Thomas and Katherine (Holland) Murphy in Madison. She married Francis J. Landreman on April 8, 1941 at St. John's Cathedral in Milwaukee. He preceded her in death on November 21, 1983. Francis and Margaret lived in Kaukauna most of their lives. She was a graduate of Marquette University, Milwaukee, WI and worked as a Nursing Supervisor and manager throughout her career. Margaret was a life long member of St. Mary Catholic Church.
She is survived by a daughter, Patricia (Christian) Kaiser, Tamaqua, PA; with whom she resided, six grandchildren: Tony Weyenberg, Little Chute, WI; Bridgit (Peter-Neil) Lombard, London, England; Christian (Lori) Kaiser IV, Tamaqua, PA; Nicole, Kamrin and Kasey Riesgo, Clovis, CA; and a great-grandson, Christian Kaiser V, Tamaqua, PA. She is further survived by many loving nieces, nephews and their families.
She was preceded in death by her daughter, Mary F. Landreman, Clovis, CA; and her brother, John Murphy, Madison, WI.
Margaret's memorial mass will be 5 p.m. Friday, October 7, 2005 at ST. MARY of the ANNUNCIATION CATHOLIC CHURCH with Fr. Robert A. Udulutsch, OFM Cap. officiating. Friends will be received on Friday at Church from 4 p.m. until the time of service. A memorial is being established in her name to benefit the Tamaqua Area Adult Day Care Center, PO Box 485, Tamaqua, PA, 18252.
