- Frank Michael Kielbasa, age 51, of Appleton, passed away on April 17, 2006 at Appleton Medical Center. He was born on August 9, 1954, in Appleton the son of Frank J. and Myrna N (Fuhrmann) Kielbasa. Mike married Elizabeth Betty Suprise in Appleton on August 25, 1979. He worked for Appleton Appleton Paper for 28 years. He was a life long resident of the Appleton area. Mike enjoyed time with family, fishing, hunting Nascar, going to the cottage, gardening, canning, and smoking fish. Survivors include his wife and best friend Betty Kielbasa, his mother: Myrna (Bill) Meyer; mother-in-law: Anna Suprise; brother: Randall (Tammy) Kielbasa, two sisters: Jean Kielbasa, Nancy (Paul) Neuman; step-brothers: David (Barb) Meyer, Dale (Janice) Meyer, Dean (Leona) Meyer, Del (Annette) Meyer; step-sisters: Sharon (Bill) Stuesser, Sara Kopitzke, Sue Millard, Sherrie (Mike) Kent; brothers-in-law Rodger (Jody) Suprise, Jerry Suprise; sisters-in-law Kathleen (Wayne) Juedes, Joan (Larry) Uhlenbrauck, Cheryl (Tim) Lecker; nieces and nephews: Justin and Joseph Neuman, Gabriel, Abigail and Megan Kielbasa, Craig (special friend Sonnet) Uhlenbrauck, Brian (special friend Jenny) Uhlenbrauck, Christopher (Amy) Suprise, Carrie (Aaron) Chelberg, Tara (Brad) Abplanalp, Korina Kaye; great-grand nieces and nephews: Jalyne Mueleman and Cody Uhlenbrauck, Ella Suprise, Logan, Delaney, Bailee and Claire Chelberg, MaKayla Lenz, Aidan Leon. Mike is further survived by a Special niece Morgan Lecker and many Step nieces and nephews.
He was preceeded in death by his father Frank Joseph Kielbasa, two baby sisters, father-in-law Laronzle Suprise and a step sister Sallie Meyer. A memorial service will be held at 8:00pm Thursday April 20, 2006 at Valley Funeral Home with Pastor Todd Smith officiating. Visitation will be from 4-8 pm at the funeral home. In lieu of other expressions of sympathy a memorial fund is being established. Frank and Betty would like to thank his friends at Appleton for all their friendship, love and support, the Doctors and Nurses at Appleton Medical Center for all the care given to Mike.
