    • Seymour - Alois "Lloyd" A. Van Handel, 64, of Seymour passed away of natural causes on Saturday, December 22, 2018 doing what he loved on the farm.

      He was born January 9, 1954 son of the late Arthur and Bernice (Van De Hey) Van Handel.

      Lloyd loved his life on the farm. He enjoyed working with the horses and antique tractors.

      Lloyd is survived by his four children: Kelly (Ryan) Petersen, Brent (Jessica) Van Handel, Amber (Adam) Gonnering, and Tyler (Jody) Van Handel; ten grandchildren; significant other and best friend of ten years, Marcie; siblings: Diane, Ruby, Greg, Nancy, Lisa, and Amy. Also survived by aunts, uncles, and cousins.

      Friends may call at Muehl-Boettcher Funeral Home, Seymour, on Friday, December 28, 2018 from 10 am until the funeral service at 12 noon. Burial will take place at St. Nicholas Cemetery in Freedom.

      In lieu of flowers a memorial fund has been established in Lloyd's memory.
