  Appleton Post Crescent Monday, September 21, 1959 163 Descendants Left by Dairy Farm Owner Herman Hietpas, 89, route 4, Appleton, owner of the Hietpas dairy farm for 63 years, died at home at 10:30 p.m. Friday after an illness of two years. He leaves 163 direct descendants. He was born in Little Chute, June 30, 1870, and operated a dairy farm there for 63 years. He was treasurer of the Pleasantview Cheese factory for eight years. Funeral services will be at 9 a.m. Tuesday at St. John Catholic Church, Little Chute, with burial in the parish cemetery. Friends may call at the Verkuilen Funeral Home until services. The rosary will be recited at 8 p.m. today. Survivors include two daughters, Mrs. John H. Evers, Little Chute, and Mrs. Joseph A. Van Handel, Appleton; six sons, John C., George H., Sebastian N. and Peter J., all of Little Chute; Cornelius J., route 4, Appleton; and William J., at home; one half sister, Mrs. Martin Geurtz, Little Chute; 71 grandchildren and 84 great grandchildren.
