      Of Waupaca, formerly of Appleton, age 80, passed away on Sunday, December 25, 2016 at Bethany Home, with family by her side. She was born in Appleton, WI on August 28, 1936 to the late Raymond and Olive (Horn) Ellenbecker. Donna attended Zion School, Old McKinley School, and graduated from Appleton High School in 1954. On November 24, 1956 she married James Huven, and he preceded her in death on December 27, 2014.

      Donna was employed by AAL (now Thrivent Financial) for 35 years. She also worked for Degree of Honor Insurance Company, The Buyer's Guide/Ad Inc., and retired in 2002 from Evans Title of Waupaca. She was known for her fabulous cooking, enjoyed doing needlework, was always nurturing and taking care of others, and liked to "run the show". The highlight of her life was definitely her great-granddaughters, Gretchen and Claudia.

      She will be dearly missed by her daughter, Laurel Lee (David) Huven Leder of Scandinavia; grandchildren: Jarrod (Laura) Leder of Whitebear Lake, MN; Abigail (Joe) Krentz of Portage; great grandchildren: Gretchen and Claudia Leder; two sisters: Marlene Birkholtz of Appleton and Yvonne (Dennis) Schoen of Caroline; as well as other relatives and many friends. Preceding her death were her husband, parents, in-laws, brother, Raymond Ellenbecker Jr., and three brothers-in-law: Gerald Birkholtz, Thomas Huven and Timothy Huven.

      The funeral service will be on Saturday, December 31, 2016 at 11 a.m. at Trinity Lutheran Church in Waupaca, with Pastor Bryan Robertson officiating. The visitation will be on Saturday from 9 a.m. until the time of the service. Burial will be in Riverside Cemetery in Appleton.
