    • Elsie M. Dhuey, age 98, a Manitowoc resident, passed away on Monday, December 19, 2019 at River's Bend Health and Rehabilitation Center, Manitowoc.

      Elise was born on December 8, 1918 in Lincoln, WI, daughter of the late Max and Clara (Pinchart) Jandrin. On July 24, 1939 she married Eugene Dhuey in Lincoln, WI. He preceded her in death on February 24, 1970. After the passing of her husband, Elsie worked as a housekeeper and cook for the priests of the Green Bay Diosese. She was a member of the Ladies of St. Peter the Fisherman in Two Rivers. Elsie's greatest joy was spending time with her grandchildren and great grandchildren.

      Survivors include two daughters and one son-in-law: Judy Theys, Two Rivers, Sharon and John Gordon, Two Rivers; six grandchildren: Debra Theys-Erce, Green Bay, Lori (Robert) Grall, Manitowoc, Patti (Mike) VanderHeiden, Manitowoc, Todd (Lisa) Gordon, San Antonio, TX, Mike (Chris) Gordon, Pewaukee, WI, Becky Gordon, Oconomowoc, WI; 9 great grandchildren; 4 great great grandchildren; and one sister: Marie Rass, Brussels, WI. Nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends also survive. She was also preceded in death by one son-in-law: Walter Theys; two brothers: Anthony (Madeline) Jandrin, Edward (Angeline) Jandrin; one sister: Myrtle (Bill) Cochart; and one brother-in-law: Edwin Rass.

      Funeral Services will be held at 11:00 a.m. on Friday, December 23, 2016 at St. Mary Catholic Church (118 Church Street) in Algoma, WI. Officiating at the Mass of Christian Burial will be the Rev. Peter Stryker with burial to follow at St. Mary Catholic Cemetery, Algoma.

      The family will greet relatives and friends on Friday, December 23, 2016 at St. Mary Catholic Church, Algoma, from 9:30 a.m. until 10:45 a.m.
