Obituary from the Verkuilen Funeral Home website. James “Jim” LeBoeuf, 62, passed away unexpectedly on Monday, May 16, 2022. He was born on May 28, 1959 to Luke and Elizabeth (Drys) LeBoeuf in Neenah, WI. Jim was a graduate of St. Mary’s High School Class of ‘77. He was employed as a mill worker for 44 years. In fact, he met the love of his life, Maureen Fischer, at work. They were married on February 5, 1994 and together raised their beautiful daughter, Ashley. In his spare time, Jim loved to read books, go biking, watch airplanes, and spend time with his family. Jim will always be remembered for being a great father, husband, and son, for being kind to everyone he met, and for his great sense of humor. Jim is survived by his wife, Maureen and his daughter, Ashley. He is further survived by his father, Luke; mother-in-law, Marilyn Fischer; in-laws: Margie (Gene) Ebben, Mary (Tim) Nechodom, Ralph Fischer (Carolyn), Marcy Gonnering, Molly Fischer, Rick (Diane) Fischer, Maria (Mark) Beyer, Rod (Julie) Fischer, and many nieces and nephews. Jim was preceded in death by his mother, Elizabeth LeBoeuf; his sister, Anne Marie Totzke; his father-in-law, David Fischer, and his brother-in-law, Dave Gonnering. A memorial service for Jim will be held at 11:00 a.m. on Thursday, May 26, 2022 at St. John Evangelical Lutheran Church (N3505 State Road 47, Appleton).
