Hash, Gloria M. Gloria M. Hash, Appleton, 79, went home to the Lord at Appleton Medical Center on Friday, April 21, 2006. She was born in Kimberly on September 1, 1926, daughter of the late John and Sylvia (Meulemans) Van Den Elsen. Gloria was married to Robert Kobussen for 25 years and then to Robert Hash for 29 years. Both preceded her in death. Gloria was proud to be a homemaker and took great pride in raising her eight children. She was a wonderful cook and loved to sew.
Gloria is survived by her children: Peg (John) Ponfil of Darboy; Gene (Laura) Kobussen of Little Chute; Mary Jo (Lee) Hammen of Kimberly; Debbie Herbst of West Bend (special friend, Bob Duchow); Sue (Rob) Ristau of Kimberly; Pat (Bob) Hoffman of Park Falls; Rick (Cindy) Kobussen of Kaukauna; and Dan (Cheri) Kobussen of Kimberly; grandchildren: Johnna (Todd) Brown, Jodi (Paul) Bartel, Missy Ponfil, Molly Ponfil, Michelle Omar, Mike (Stephanie) Kobussen, Lee (Claire) Hammen, Lori (Jimmy) Henderson, Brad Hammen, Scott Herbst, Ryan Herbst, Eric (Kelly) Ristau, Jenelle Ristau, Adam (Dani) Hoffman, Keshia Hoffman, Kristi Kobussen, Katie Kobussen; 13 great-grandchildren; brothers and sisters: Ken (Marie) Van Elsen, Raymond "Bud" (Marlene) Van Den Elsen, and Muriel (Bob) Frank.
She is preceded in death by her husband Robert Kobussen, and her husband Robert Hash, her parents; and her sister, Erna (Percy) Spice.
The funeral Mass will be at 12 p.m. on Tuesday, April 25, 2006, at St. John Catholic Church, 323 Pine St, Little Chute, with Fr. Patrick Beno officiating. Friends will be received at the church on Tuesday from 10 a.m. until the time of the Mass. Burial will be in St. John Cemetery, Little Chute.
The family extends a special thank you to Gloria's caregivers, family, friends, and all who kept Gloria close in prayer.
A memorial fund in Gloria's name is being established.
