      Kathy Vandenberg Succumbs At 32; Services Today

      A concelebrated mass will be held at 11 a.m. today, Tuesday, at St. Therese Catholic Church, Appleton, for Kathryn Ann (Kathy) Vandenberg of 1003 N. Appleton St., Appleton. The Rev. Daniel Gilsdorf and the Rev. Steve Scherer will officiate and interment will be in St. John's Cemetery, Little Chute. Friends may call at the Wichmann Funeral Home, Appleton, after 8 o'clock this morning until the cortege leaves for the church. Miss Vandenberg died Friday November 7, 1986, at St. Elizabeth Hospital, Appleton, at the age of 32. Born June 13, 1954 she attended St. John's Grade and High Schools, Little Chute, and was employed at Appleton Papers prior to her illness. She was a member of St. Therese Catholic Church.

      Survivors include her mother, Mary Ann (Weyenberg) Vandenberg; her father, Emmet Vandenberg; two sisters, Sherry Vandenberg of Little Chute and Patricia Utschig of Madison; two brothers and a sister in-law, Mark of Appleton and Mike and Beth of Palm Harbor, Florida; her grandmother, Mrs. Mamie Vandenberg of the St. Paul Home, Kaukauna; and a friend and companion, Heidi.

      She was preceded in death by her paternal grandfather, William Vandenberg; and her maternal grandparents, Martin and Nellie Weyenberg.
