- Nancy M. Frisque, 68, Green Bay, passed Sunday, September 11, 2016, following a long battle with Alzheimer's Disease. She was born on May 14, 1948, in Roswell, NM to James and Mildred (Pankratz) Pratt.
On October 6, 1973, Nancy married Lon Frisque at St. Matthew Catholic Church. He preceded her in death on April 20, 2009. She graduated from NWTC with a degree in nursing and continued at UWGB to obtain her Bachelors of Science - Nursing Degree. Nancy was a Registered Nurse at St. Vincent Hospital where she worked on 8th floor. After becoming a breast cancer survivor, she became a breast health educator, teaching others about breast health. Nancy was an avid Packers fan, and a lover of huskies. She enjoyed crafting and watching the Indy 500 every May. Nancy was a member of St. Matthew Parish.
She is survived by her two children and their spouses: Amy and Andrew Hawley, Milwaukee; and Paul and Brenda Frisque, Green Bay; granddaughter, Autumn; two sisters and their spouses, Linda and Steve Pelton, Deborah and Angelo Papademetriou; brother, James S. Pratt, Jr.; sister-in-law, Mary Sue Cardin; and many nieces and nephews.
Nancy was preceded in death by her, husband, Lon; parents, James and Mildred Pratt, Sr.; and parents-in-law, James and Bernice Frisque; and her beloved huskies, Meeko, Timon, and Pumba.
Friends may call at Blaney Funeral Home, 1521 Shawano Ave., from 5 to 8 p.m. Thursday, September 15. A Parish Wake Service will be held at 7:30 p.m. Friends may also call at St. Matthew Catholic Church, 130 St. Matthew Street, from 10 to 11 a.m. Friday. The Mass of Christian Burial will be held at 11 a.m. Friday at the church with Rev. Robert Kabat officiating. Entombment will be in Allouez Chapel Mausoleum.
