- Hortonville - Robert (Bob) McHugh, age 81, of Hortonville, was taken to his heavenly home on Sunday, May 27, 2018. Bob was a member of St. Peter and Paul Catholic Church of Hortonville. Through the years he worked for Hortonville Canning Factory, Courtny & Plummer/4X, The Town of Ellington, Outagamie County, but one of his favorites was Berg Corporation train derailment. He was a proud Marine of 4 years, a member of the Knights of Columbus for 62 years and was a volunteer fireman for 30 years. Everyone that knew Bob will miss his one-liners.
Bob is survived by his wife, Geniel; stepchildren, Lisa and Charles Baehman (Kelly Schimmer); grandchildren, Zachery, Brianna, Savanna, and Jake Baehman, and Autumn Taylor.
He is also survived by four sisters, Mary Ann Broehm, Millie McHugh, Judy Schwarz, and Susie Ashauer (Dennis) and three brothers Denny, Pat and Dave (Kay) McHugh. He is also survived by in-law's, Marilyn (Jerry) Coenen, Doris (Fran) VanCamp, and Keith (Cheryl) Schroeder.
Bob was preceded in death by his parents, Arthur & Irene Mchugh; brother, Donald McHugh; sisters-in-law, Gladys and Kathy McHugh; brothers-in-law, Robert Broehm and Michael Schwarz; nephew, Joe Ashauer and great-nephew, Dewy Ashauer.
Thanks to Bob and Geniel's family and friends, doctors, nurses and hospice care for the love and support for the past 2 years and 7 months.

The Mass of Resurrection for Bob will be held at 11:00a.m. Thursday, May 31, 2018 at Ss Peter & Paul Catholic Church in Hortonville. Visitation will be at the church on Thursday from 8:30a.m. until the time of service. Interment will be in the Ellington Union Cemetery.
In memory of Bob, donations will be given to the, Knights of Columbus, and Immanuel Lutheran Church, Greenville.
