    • BRILLION – Mrs. Charles Behnke, 64, of 215 Washington St., Brillion died July 16 at home after a lingering illness.
      Funeral services were held at Trinity Lutheran Church, Brillion. The Rev. Arden Steubs officiated and burial was in the town of Brillion Cemetery.

      Mrs. Behnke, nee Margaret Boldt, was born June 25, 1900 in the town of Maple Grove, daughter of John and Lena Maile Boldt. She was married to Mr. Behnke Nov. 17, 1920 at Kasson.

      Surviving are the husband, three daughters, Mrs. Irvin Paul and Mrs. William Ross of Brillion, and Mrs. Clarence Schwahn of Reedsville; a son, Marvin of Brillion; six sisters, Mrs. Ed Drier of Appleton, Mrs. John Heigle and Mrs. George Schneider of Neenah, Mrs. Agnes Bucholz and Mrs. Irwin Senbusch of Brillion and Mrs. Alfred Giese of Florida; three brothers, George and Fred of Brillion and Alvin of Denmark, and 14 grandchildren. A daughter, brother and sister preceded her in death.
