    • Mrs. Henry P. Thill Rites Held Tuesday

      Mrs. Henry P. Thill passed away at the family home in the village of Stockbridge on Saturday May 6th following a long illness.

      She was born Anna Mary Steffes daughter of the late John and Katherine Maier Steffes on February 7, 1886 in the town of Brothertown.

      Her marriage to Henry P. Thill was performed at Holy Trinity Church, Jericho on November 8, 1911 by the now Msgr. John Huhn. To this union six children were born.

      She is survived by her widower and six daughters, Mrs. E. John Mueller (Margaret Mary) New Holstein; Mrs. Emil J. Steiner (Theresa) Town of Charlestown; Mrs. Albert Ludwig (Esther) and Mrs. Hugo Zahringer (Crescence), Town of Stockbridge; Mrs. Robert J. Kempen (Felicia) Little Chute; and Miss Vivian at home. Ten grandchildren, four sisters, Mrs. John J. Steiner, Charlesburg; Mrs. Joseph Kopf, Chilton; Mrs. Matt Schuster, Marshfield; Mrs. John Mullarkey, New London and one brother, Albert Steffes, of Jericho.

      She was a member of the Christina Mother's Society of St. Mary's church and a charter member of the Joan of Arc Circle, Daughters of Isabella, Chilton.

      Funeral services were held Tuesday, May 9, at 10 o'clock at St. Mary's church, Stockbridge with the Rev. Theodore Kerstsn officiating and burial in the parish cemetery. Pallbearers were six son-in-laws, E. John Mueller, Emil J. Steiner, Albeert Ludwig, Hugo Zahringer, Robert Kemper and Zeno Hertel.
