- Jan Koerner, 95, Neenah, passed away on Saturday, August 20, 2016, at Park View Health Center, Oshkosh. She was the daughter of the late Joseph and Genevieve (Betters) Junion, born in Neenah on December 8, 1920. She graduated from Neenah High School, the Class of 1938. After high school, she received her beauticians license. She was an avid bowler who belonged to the Womans "600 Club" of the Fox Valley. She also loved golfing, sewing, knitting, and did a lot of baking and cooking. Jan especially enjoyed the annual "cousins reunion" held in Northern Michigan where all of the relatives would get together. She was a member of St. Gabriel Catholic Parish, Neenah.
She is survived by a son: James (Sandra) of Colorado Springs; 6 grandchildren: Mari, Patty, Renee, Nicole, Tracy, and Jose; several nieces, nephews, and many friends.
Jan was preceded in death by her husband, Albert in 1990; daughters: Judy and Jill; 4 brothers: Raymond, Melville, Earl, and Norman and a sister, Gladys.
Memorial services will be held at 11:00 a.m., Monday, August 29, 2016, at the Kessler Funeral Home, 304 S. Commercial St., Neenah, with Fr. Richard Allen officiating. Interment will be in St. Mary Cemetery, Menasha. Visitation will be Monday at the funeral home from 10:00 a.m. until the time of the service.
Jan's family would like to extend a special thank you to Pat, Dr. Klamm, Fr. Larry Seidl and Fr. Richard Allen for their wonderful companionship and care.
