Jacqueline M. "Jackie" Verheyden, 76, Ashwaubenon, was called to the Lo rd at her home on Saturday Sept. 2, 2006, surrounded by her loving fami ly after a courageous battle with cancer. Jackie was born Nov. 25, 192 9, to the late Henry and Laura (Caeser) Ver Doot in Green Bay. On June 1 8, 1949, she married Dale Verheyden at St. Patrick's Church in Green Bay a nd together raised their five children whom she loved dearly. Jacqueline a lways went to daily mass and was very devoted to her faith. She also lov ed sports especially the Packers and Brewers, doing crafts and reading. Ab ove all, she was a very loving person.
Jackie is survived by her husband; five children, Gary (Vicki) Verheyde n, Green Bay; Debbie (John) Nichols, Pulaski; Craig (Cindy) Verheyde n, De Pere; Pam (Chuck) DeMoulin, De Pere; Sandy (Victor) Tomesek, Ocon to Falls; two sisters, Carol (Frank) Hendricks and Jo Ann Ver Doot; 13 gra ndchildren, Lori, Jenni, Stacy, Johnny, Scott, Mark, Sarah, Nicole, Bek i, Charlie, Steven, Dale and Emily; ten great-grandchildren and nieces a nd nephews.
She was preceded in death by her parents, a brother, Milton Ver Doot a nd a grandson, Gary A. Verheyden.
Friends may call from 4 to 8 p.m. Tuesday Sept. 5, 2006, at RYAN FUNERAL H OME De Pere with a prayer service at 7 p.m. Visitation will continue aft er 10 a.m. at Our Lady of Lourdes Parish Family (corner of Suburban and Lo urdes avenue, De Pere) Wednesday Sept. 6, 2006.
