- Joan M. Reis, 79, De Pere, passed away peacefully on Saturday afternoon, August 13, 2016. She was born on June 24, 1937 in Green Bay to the late John and Louise (Verheyen) Lasee. Joan was a graduate of St. Joseph Academy. She married Andrew Reis on May 19, 1956. Joan enjoyed playing cards, attending daily mass, and her rosary group. She was a member of St. Mary Catholic Church, Ledgeview.
Survivors include her four children: Deborah (Gary) Michalski Reis and their children, Elizabeth and Andrew; Carol Reis and her children, Jessica Kussow, Kimberly (Paul) Laudolff and their daughter Miller, Rebecca (Jon) Brock and their children, Teagan and Hadley; Sharon (Donald) Windey and their children, Steven, Scott, Cierra, William, Sylvana, Faith; Daniel (Christina) Reis and their children Trevor, Angela (Branden) Dixon; brothers: Fran Lasee, Jobe (Rose) Lasee; sister-in-law, Eleanor Lasee; numerous nieces and nephews.
She was preceded in death by her husband, Andrew, daughter, Rochelle, and brothers, sisters, brothers-in-law, and sisters-in-law.
Family and friends may visit at Cotter Funeral Home, 860 N. Webster Ave, De Pere, on Tuesday, August 16, 2016 from 4:00pm until 7:00pm, with a Parish Prayer Service at 6:30pm, led by her son-in-law, Don Windey. Visitation will continue on Wednesday at St. Mary Catholic Church, 4805 Sportsman Dr., Ledgeview, from 9:30am until 10:45am. The Mass of Christian Burial for Joan will be celebrated at 11:00am with Rev. Richard Getchel officiating. Interment will be in Mt. Olivet Cemetery, De Pere. The family would like to extend a special thanks to the Bellin 2nd floor nursing staff, and to Manor Care West for all their care and concern. Also, a special thanks to Fr. Jack Harper for all the support throughout the years.
