    • De Pere Journal Democrat - 6-18-1987 Louis Ambrosius, 86, 900 Main St. Wrightstown died Wednesday at his home. He was born July 2 2, 1901 in De Pere to the late Theodore and Hattie (Bos) Ambrosius. He married the former Mar ie Minten, Nov. 28, 1922 at St. Boniface church. He owned and operated the Ambrosius Oil Company until he retired in 1956. He was on the Brow n County Board of Supervisors from 1956-66 and on the county's handicapped Board from 1965-75 . He was a member of the Golden Agers. Survivors include his wife; three sons and three daughters in law, Robert and Gen, Brillion , Richard and Phyllis, De Pere, and Marlin and Marilyn, Crivitz; three daughters and two son- in-law, Mrs. Verna LeRoy, Green Bay, Doris and Carl Verstegen, Little Chute, and Clara and Ke n Kamps, Wrightstown; 30 grandchildren and 23 great grandchildren; one brother Adolph Ambrosi us, Leona; one sister in law Marie Ambrosius De Perre. one brother in law, Carl Van Ess, Gree n Bay. He was preceded in death by one grandson, Paul Kamps; one son-in law, John LeRoy; seven broth ers and three sisters. Services were held Saturday at St. Paul Catholic church Wrightstown. The Rev. Richard Shafe r was the celebrant. Burial was in the parish cemetery. De Wane-Zoromski Funeral Home, Wright stown, was in charge of arrangements.
