    • Toni (Lopas) Grissman (nee Van Roy), age 82, Little Chute, died Sunday, June 23, 2002, at St. Elizabeth Hospital.
      She was born July 2, 1919, in Little Chute, daughter of the late Martin and Frances (Vanden Hogen) Van Roy. In 1938 Toni married Elmer Lopas. He preceded her in death in 1947. On August 2, 1958, she married Jerry Grissman. The couple resided in Little Chute their entire married lives.
      Toni loved to play cards and belonged to several card clubs. She loved to spend time visiting and laughing with family and friends, young and old. She loved everyone she met.
      She was a member of St. John Catholic Church, Little Chute; the St. Elizabeth Society; the Catholic Family Society; and the Moose Lodge of Appleton and Kaukauna.
      She is survived by her husband, Jerry Grissman, Little Chute; 4 sons and daughters-in-law: Don (Darlene) Lopas, Elcho, WI; Bob (Donna) Lopas, Gresham; Tom (Sandy) Lopas, Kaukauna; Dave (Linda) Lopas, Kimberly; 11 grandchildren: Greg (Kim) Lopas, Kris (Tim) Rau, Doug (Katie) Lopas, Ken (Jenny) Lopas, Barney (Lori) Lopas, Bob (Mary) Lopas, Bill (Billie) Lopas, Lisa Lopas, Tammie, Jenny, and Scott Lopas; 13 great-grandchildren; 2 sisters and 2 brothers-in-law: Grace Graf, Little Chute; Josie (Don) Robinson, Kaukauna; Barney Driessen, Hollandtown; and 1 sister-in-law, Marge Van Roy, Little Chute. She is further survived by her husband's family: Joyce Alt, Helen (Marv) Baeten, Bob (Violet) Grissman, Dick (Bea) Grissman, Roy (Louella) Grissman, Don (Eunice) Grissman; special nephew, Dennis Graf, Appleton; many nieces, nephews and friends.
      Toni was preceded in death by a sister, Mary Driessen; brother, Casey Van Roy; a sister-in-law and 2 brothers-in-law: Lucille (Wilbur) Toebe and Mel Graf.
      In lieu offlowers, a memorialfund has been established in her name.
