    • Nathan L. Bricco, age 81, New London, formerly of Bear Creek, passed away on Tuesday, June 7, 2016. He was born on June 9, 1934, Town of Deer Creek, (Outagamie County), son of the late Joseph and Victoria (Suidzinski) Bricco. Nathan served his country in the United States Navy. He worked as a machinist at various manufacturing companies, retiring from Valmet in 1996. He enjoyed hunting, fishing, golfing, the outdoors, going to the casino, watching the Brewers and the Game Show Network and spending time at Willies in Bear Creek.

      He is survived by sisters, Julie Ott, New London; Carol Stern, Glendale, AZ; Betty (Jim) Gruentzel, Waunakee; and a sister-in-law, Margie Bricco, New London. Nathan is further survived by numerous nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends.

      He was preceded in death by his parents; two brothers, Norman and Wayne: and two sisters, Elaine Schetter and Jackie Ziegler; brothers-in-law, Ralph Ott, Louis Stern and Larry Schetter.

      A special thank you to the staff at The Washington Center, St. Joseph Residence, and ThedaCare at Home Hospice for the loving care and kindness they gave to Nathan.

      A Celebration of Life for Nathan will be held on Thursday, June 16, 2016 from 2-4 p.m. at Cline and Hanson Funeral Home in New London. Full military rites will be held.

      We want to thank Uncle Nate for being such an amazing person in our lives and for being another Dad, Grandpa, and Great Grandpa to our family. Even though Nate is no longer with us, we will cherish his time with our family forever. We love you so much!
