Notes - Wabeno - Bernadine V. Mallow, 89, of Wabeno, WI passed away Wednesday, February 14, 2018 at St. Mary's Hospital, Rhinelander. Bernadine was born February 23, 1928 in Green Bay, WI the daughter of William and Anna (Kaster) Fontaine. She graduated from Wabeno High School in 1946 and married Russell Mallow on June 29, 1946 at St. Ambrose Catholic Church. Surviving Bernadine are her daughters, April (Lonnie) Schreiber, Wabeno, WI; Nancy Mallow, NM; Patricia (John) Blackhurst, MN; Lisa Mallow-Bentley, Kewaskum; 4 grandchildren, David (Kim) Schreiber; Amy (Russ) Collins; Kail (Rebecca) Bowman; Joel Bentley; 4 great-grandchildren; brother, Anthony Fontaine, Wabeno. She was preceded in death by her parents, William and Anna; husband, Russell; 2 sisters, Berdella; Erma; 3 brothers, Arnold; William; and Fabian. Memorial Mass will be held at 11:00 am. on April 28, 2018 at St. Ambrose Catholic Church, Wabeno with Fr. Philip Dinh-Van-Thiep officiating. Visitation will be held from 10:00 a.m.to time of service. The family would like to thank the Nu-Roc staff for their care of our mother. Weber-Hill Funeral Home is assisting the family with the arrangements.
