- Heindl, Geraldine R.
Our Lord came to take one of His most beloved daughters home. Geraldine R. Heindl (Francart), age 87, passed peacefully on January 9, 2016 at Park View Health Center in Oshkosh surrounded by family.
She was the daughter of the late Edward and Agnes (Nowak) Francart of Neenah, WI. Geraldine was married to the late Richard Heindl in November of 1948. She is survived by her brothers, James (Dorothy) Francart and Robert (Helen) Francart and sisters Ethel Dessort and Judy (Rudolph Jr) Dessort. She was preceded in death by her brother Francis (Bud) and sister Sally (late Norbert) Jackels.
She is survived by her son James (Mary) Heindl and daughter Paula (David) Hayford, 6 grandchildren, 8 great-grandchildren and 1 great-great grandchild.
Our Mother loved her husband and children, grandchildren and great-grandchildren. She was a kind woman with a beautiful heart. She loved her roses, chocolates, traveling and painting. Geraldine had a smile for everyone. There was love, happiness and joy all rolled into our Mother. We are so thankful for her. The memory the Grandchildren have of both of their beloved Grandparents is that they made the effort to attend all of their events throughout their lives showing love and support. Geraldine was involved in Cub Scouts, Girl Scouts and taught Christian Youth Organization classes at St John the Baptist Parish in Menasha. In later life after traveling became difficult, she spent many hours at the Senior Center in Menasha painting with her sister, Ethel. Her passion was truly her family.
A time of visiting and sharing memories will be held on Thursday, January 14, 2016 from 10:00 AM until the time of the memorial service at 11:00 AM at Neenah's Westgor Funeral Home, 205 W. Doty Avenue, Neenah. Burial at St Mary Cemetery on Racine Street will immediately follow the service. In lieu of flowers, a memorial fund is being established.
We would like to thank Geraldine's nurse practitioner, Stephanie Stettler, and the amazing staff at Park View Health Center for the loving care you gave her. She became part of each of your lives with her ever present smile and you returned her loving kindness each and every day.
