    • Susan Schroeder, 71, passed away on Monday, May 5, 2014 at Oakridge Gardens Care Center. Susan was born on December 7, 1942 to Marvin and Helen (Meyer) Schroeder in Appleton. She worked first at Prange Department store then at the Appleton Water Works in the billing Department. Sue liked to travel and traveled to Alaska, Hawaii and took a cruise through the Panama Canal, along with many other trips. She enjoyed being a volunteer at the local schools and Appleton Medical Center. Sue was an animal lover and always had a treat for any pets she would run into. She especially loved her bird Buster. Susan was a member of First Congregational United Church of Christ, the Rebecca Lodge and TOPS.
      Susan is survived by two brothers; Mark (Wanda) Schroeder of Neenah and Thomas (Chris) Schroeder Cumberland, niece, nephews, other relatives and friends.
      The funeral for Susan will be held on Friday, May 9, 2014 at 11:00 AM at WICHMANN FUNERAL HOME, with Rev. Jane Anderson officiating. Interment will be in the Highland Memorial Park. A time of visitation will be held on Friday from 10:00 AM until the time of the service at the funeral home. Online condolences may be expressed at www.wichmannfargo.com.
