- Reynebeau, Don F.
Don F. Reynebeau, age 73, of Little Chute, died Sunday, July 3, 2005, at Cherry Meadows Hospice with his family by his side. He was born July 12, 1931, in Little Chute, son of John "Jack" and Viola (O'Barski) Reynebeau. Don married Ethel (E.B.) Hegarty, April 14 1956 in Collingswood, New Jersey. He was employed at Thilmany Paper Company for 15 years and later owned and operated Reynebeau Floral, a family business now in its 3rd generation. He was a member of F.T.D. and other projessional floral associations. Don was a lifelong member of St. John Nepomucene Catholic Church, Little Chute; the Jacob Coppus American Legion Post #258, Little Chute and a former Post Commander; the Kiwanis Club of Little Chute; the Fox Valley Gold Club and a past president and former member of the board of directors. Don was a U.S. Air Force veteran of the Korean Conflict and was a member of the 6461st Troop Carrier Squadron Kyushu Gypsies and recently rece8ived a medal for his service in that unit. He was an avid golfer, loved cards, especially bridge and cribbage, was a faithful packers fan and loved playing Santa Claus, especially in the Little Chute Christmas Parade. Don enjoyed spending time with family and friends at their cottage at Legend Lake.
Don is survived by his wife, E. B. Reynebeau; his children, Steve (Ellen) Reynebeau, Little Chute; Dave (Ellen) Reynebeau, Springdale Arkansas; Kathy Reynebeau, Shiocton and special friend Jim; Jeff (Tracy) Reynebeau and Paul Reynebeau, both of Little Chute; Linda (Bradley) Gilbert, Winchester; Jon Reynebeau, Madison; 18 grandchildren, Roman, Mitch, Jack and Sam Reynebeau; Peter, Emily, Haley, Joey, Anna Zach and Ben Reynebeau; Brooke )Eric) Schmidt; Katie, laura, Eric and Matt Reynebeau; Bryce and Beau Gilbert; step great grandchildren, Ethan and Taylir Schmidt; a sister, Karen (Jim) Mulry, Little Chute; a brother, Jerry (Donna) Reynebeau, Little Chute; two brothers-in-law, Dick (Ann) Hegarty and Jim Hegarty, both of New Jersey; nieces and nephews and other relatives and friends.
Don was preceded in death by his parents; sisters-in-law, Eleanor (Harry) Grissim and Sandy Hegarty; his mother and father-in-law, Ethel and William Hegarty.
Funeral services will be held at 5 p.m. Wednesday, July 6, 2005, at St. John Nepomucene Catholic Church with Rev. Msgr. James Vanden Hogen officiating. Interment will be in St. John Cemetery, Little Chute. Friends may call at the church from 1 to 5 p.m. Wednesday with a prayer service to be held at 4:30 p.m. by the Jacob Coppus American Legion Post #258 Little Chute. Military rites will conducted by the Jacob Coppus American Legion Post #258 following the mass.
The family wishes to express a special thank you to Dr. Timothy Goggins, his nurses and staff at Fox Valley Hematology and Oncology and also to the staff at Cherry Meadows Hospice.
Thank you Dad for the love and support you provided for your family and friends. You will be dearly missed by all who knew you.
