    • Kimberly - Lenore "Nori" (Vandehey) Stuyvenberg passed away peacefully on January 13, 2018, in her home with her family by her side. Nori was 94 years young. She was born November 6, 1923 in Freedom, Wisconsin to her parents, Peter and Mary Vandehey. She grew up in Kimberly, part of a large loving family with her nine brothers and sisters.

While in high school she met the love of her life, Kenny Stuyvenberg. They were married in 1947 and lived happily together for 55 years until Kenny's passing in 2002. They were inseparable. Although Kimberly has always been her home, she and Kenny had many adventures traveling with Kenny's career with Kimberly Clark. They lived in various California cities, South Carolina, Arizona and Puerto Rico. Everywhere they lived they made new friends and continued to remain close with family and friends from back home. Some of her fondest memories were traveling with her family and Kenny's many brothers and sisters.

Nori loved socializing with her extended family and friends. Whether fishing at Lake Winneconne or playing cribbage or poker with her many pals, she was truly the life of the party. Always cheery, she made everyone around her feel a little happier with her upbeat personality and loving outlook.

Nori was preceded in death by her parents and all of her brothers and sisters (Herman, Donald, Glen Vandehey; Eunice Sanderfoot, Florence Gloudemans, Mary Claire Robl, Agnes Holzer and Rosie Kroner.) She is survived by her five children: David, and wife Charlotte of Seattle, Washington; Jayne Overton and husband, Jim of Columbia, South Carolina; Joni Stovall and husband Scott of Eugene, Oregon; Jude Stuyvenberg of Kimberly, Wisconisn, and Ron Stuyvenberg of Wildomar, California. Also, Nori (aka, Meema) is survived by seven grandkids and 12 great-grandkids.

The funeral liturgy for Nori will be held at 11:00 AM on Thursday, January 18, 2018 at HOLY SPIRIT PARISH, 620 E. Kimberly Avenue in Kimberly. Visitation will be held just prior to the service, from 10:00 AM until 11:00 AM. Burial will follow at Holy Name Cemetery in Kimberly.

The family would also like to express our deepest gratitude to our dear sister, Jude, for all the loving care she gave Mom during these last five plus years. We love you and appreciate you more than you will ever know - just as Mom did, too.
