- VanHoof, Florence (Reynebeau) 2000 Appleton Post Crescent dated 12/9/2000; Florence Van Hoof (Reynebeau) Little Chute Age 78, with her family by her side, Florence was called to Jesus peacefully on Thursday, December 7, 2000 after a lengthy illness. Florence was born in Little Chute, the first child of Matthew and Louise (Marx) Reynebeau. On November 6, 1945 Florence married Kenneth Van Hoof and together they shared 55 years of married life. Together they owned and operated several family businesses all located in Little Chute. Florence was a lifelong member of St. John Parish in Little Chute. She enjoyed raising and spending time with her six children as well as spending time at the family cottage and winter trips to Florida and Arizona. Florence is survived by her husband, Kenneth; her children: Dennis (Susan) Van Hoof, Granite Falls, Minnesota; Pamela (Donald) Duddek, Pound; Richard (Nancy) Van Hoof, Little Chute; Terrance Van Hoof, Neenah; Thomas (Joan) Van Hoof, Shorewood; Mary Van Dyn Hoven (Tom St. John), Little Chute; nine grandchildren: Matthew (Brenda) Van Hoof, Daniel Van Hoof, Jaime Duddek, Martin Van Hoof, Monica Dobbe, Adam and Luke Van Dyn Hoven, Max and Annie Van Hoof; three great-grandchildren: Spencer, Malachi and Kyra Dobbe; her brothers and sisters: Joseph (Lucille) Reynebeau, Rosella (Joe) Look, Bernice (Marty) Van Domlen, Orion (Lois) Reynebeau, Virgil (Charlotte) Reynebeau; numerous nieces and nephews. She was preceded in death by her parents, her sister and brother-in-law: Myrtle (George) Roovers. Funeral services will be 1:30 p.m. Saturday, December 9, 2000 at Saint John Catholic Church, Little Chute with Rev. John Schuetze officiating. Interment will be in Saint John Cemetery. Friends may call at the church from 12 noon Saturday until the time of the Mass. Mom: You have touched our hearts with your gentleness; you have touched our souls in more ways than you could ever know. May you rest in peace with no more discomfort, no more medication and the freedom that you so longed for. May you dance in the heavens and smile down upon us until we meet again. We would like to extend our appreciation to all of the staff members of the St. Paul Home in Kaukauna who cared for our mom. Your kindness and compassion will never be forgotten.
