      Age 98, of Appleton, formerly of Shiocton, went to her heavenly home on Thursday, October 8, 2015 at Carolina Manor in Appleton. She was born on August 4, 1917, in the Town of Grand Chute, daughter of the late August and Frances (Eichhorst) Becker. Selma had been a resident of Carolina Manor in Appleton the past 12 years. She was a member of Messiah Ev. Lutheran Church in Shiocton.

      She is survived by a sister: Elnora De Bruin, Omro; a brother: Eugene Becker, Shiocton; also nieces, nephews, great-nieces and great-nephews. She is further survived by other relatives and friends.

      She was preceded in death by her parents, a sister-in-law Joyce Becker, and a brother-in-law Marvin De Bruin.

      The Christian Funeral for Selma will be held on Monday, October 12, 2015 at 11:00 a.m. at Messiah Ev. Lutheran Church in Shiocton with Rev. Bradley Ragner officiating. Burial will be in Highland Memorial Park in Appleton. A visitation for Selma will be held directly at the church on Monday from 10:00 a.m. until the time of the service.
