- Myron Oney Brault, age 80, of Brillion, passed away on October 3, 2015 at Calumet Medical Center in Chilton.
Myron was born on March 2, 1935 in Coleman, son of the late Oney and Clara (Hennricks) Brault. He attended Brillion High School. Myron served our country in the United State Army Reserves. On January 23, 1960, he married Joan Hansford in Green Bay. The couple celebrated 55 years of marriage this year. Myron was a truck driver for the Brillion Iron Works, cb handle "Pony Express." He retired from there after working 43 years, earning many safe driving awards along the way. He also bartended at Pinewoods and Michiels for a number of years. Myron was a member of the AmVets Post 1032 in Reedsville and on the Brillion Fire Department until his job no longer allowed him to do so. Myron was a huge NASCAR fan, particularly favoring Richard Petty. He also enjoyed riding his John Deere tractor. He and Joan also were in a couples bowling league in their younger years, enjoyed traveling to different races in their motor home, and they loved to watch their grandchildren play various sports. Myron was a fighter, seeming to have 9 lives. He always fought, because he loved his family.
Myron is survived by his wife of 55 years: Joan of Brillion; their three children: Steve (Sara), Dorothy (Robin) Stever, and Mike (Jody) all of Brillion; grandchildren: Dana Brault (special friend Chad Behnke) of Appleton, Dustin (Carlye) Stever, Travis Stever (special friend Riley Eickert), Kyle Brault, and Carly Brault, all of Brillion; one sister: Virginia Ronsman of Green Bay, one brother: Alex of Brillion; three sisters-in-law: Jackie Vande Logt of Green Bay, Sally Brault of Brillion, and Bev Hansford of Las Vegas, NV; one brother-in-law: Jerry (Barb) Hansford of De Pere; and three godsons: Tom Vande Logt of Rochester, NY, Vic Brault of Chilton, and Dan Brault of Potter. Nieces, nephews, other relatives, and friends further survive. He was preceded in death by an infant son: Oney Lee, one brother: Maynard, two brothers-in-law: Cletus Ronsman and Ron Hansford, and one sister-in-law: Jane Brault.
A memorial service will take place at 7:30 p.m. on Wednesday, October 7, 2015 at the Wieting Funeral Home in Brillion. Officiating at the service will be Deacon Steve Letourneaux. Inurnment will be at Knollwood Mausoleum, town of Kossuth.
Friends may call at the Brillion funeral home from 4:00 p.m. until the time of the service.
