    • Richard Alan Moyle, Combined Locks, age 62, passed away peacefully in the presence of family and friends on January 5, 2015. He was born in Ishpeming, Michigan on September 23, 1952. He graduated from Ishpeming High School in 1970 and attended Northern Michigan University. He was a tremendous athlete excelling in several sports. In his earlier days he played tennis and softball "Slider". He won the U.P. title for boxing in 1976. Once he discovered golf, it became his passion. Rich was the heart and soul of his friends annual golf season, on courses all over the country. He also enjoyed fishing and hunting-filling up the freezer every year. He married Diane Lynn Flaherty on April 4, 1987. He was a "jack of all trades" he worked as an educator and mentor, utilizing his vast and wonderful talents, before beginning his career at the Gates Rubber Company. Rich retired from Gates as a District Sales Manager in November of 2014 after 24 years.

      He was preceded in death by his parents, James and Alice Moyle and his father-in-law, Bud Flaherty.

      Rich is survived by his wife, Diane (Flaherty) Moyle, his children: Micailly (Moyle) Carlson (Daniel), Nicole (Perry) Stewart (Chad) and Elizabeth Moyle (Troy Diedrich); his grandchildren: Nathan Krook, Riley Carlson, Olivia Krook, Alex Carlson and Amelia Stewart; his siblings: Ann (Harvey) Wise, Mary (Terry) Kutchie, Bobbie (Bill) Hartman, Peter Moyle, and Susie (Gary) Anderson. Beloved uncles, aunts, and cousins. Multiple nieces and nephews who were all his "favorite"as well as all of his "great" nieces and nephews! Richard made friends easily. He had a countless number of friends who he loved dearly and were all treated like family.

      A celebration of Richard's life will be held at Boettcher Funeral Home, 2401 Fieldcrest Dr., Kaukauna on Saturday January 10th from 3:00pm to 6:00pm. A reception will immediately follow at the Lazy Dog Sports Bar and Grill located at 1441 Arbor Way, Kaukauna, WI. In lieu of flowers, send memorials to the American Legion Post 38, c/o Robert Seide, 3220 W. College Ave., Appleton, Wisconsin 54914.
