Reynebeau, Joseph H. Joseph H. Reynebeau, of Little Chute, died Sunday, February 19, 2006, at his home at the age of 79. Joe was born November 25, 1926, in Little Chute, son of the late Mathew and Louise (Marx) Reynebeau. Joe served his country during World War II and was a sixty-two year member of the Jacob Coppus American Legion Post 258, Little Chute. He married Lucille Look on May 18, 1948, at St. John Nepomucene Catholic Church where he was a lifelong member. Joe was a very faith-filled man, grateful for his many blessings in life, and always assured others of his prayers for them. He served as Parish Council President and was instrumental in the building of St. John's Parish Center. Ever the entrepreneur, Joe started a number of businesses, including Reynebeau Clothing. He enjoyed sports, in his younger years as an athlete, and later in life as he cheered on his children and grandchildren. The time he spent with family and friends was always very precious to him. In addition to his wife, Lucille, Joe is survived by his children: Louise (Todd) Van Harpen, Kaukauna; Jessie (Steve) Hietpas, Little Chute; Matt Reynebeau, Appleton; Fr. Tom Reynebeau, Oshkosh; Lee (Lisa) Reynebeau, Appleton; Mary Sanders, Appleton; 16 grandchildren: Wendy (Andy) King; Roy and Mandie Van Harpen; Becky (Matt) Vanden Avond; Pete (Heather), Charlie (Dani), Heidi and Sam Hietpas; Anne (Dan) Hafner; Joy (Dan) Des Jardins; Kelyn, Luke and Nathan Reynebeau; Leah, Katie and Madison Sanders; and Justin Kempen; eight great-grandchildren: Lauren, Carter, Reid, Bryce, Lily, Isaiah, Taylor and Keegan; brothers and sisters: Bernice (Martin) Van Domelen; Rosella (Joe) Look; Orion "Poogey" (Lois) Reynebeau; brothers and sisters-in-law: Charlotte Reynebeau, Ken Van Hoof, Bob (Mary) Look, Dorothy Lamers and Margaret Look. Joe is also survived by his special aunt Ella Reynebeau and many nieces, nephews and friends. In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by brothers and sisters: Florence Van Hoof, Myrtle (George) Roovers, Virgil "Butch" Reynebeau; and brothers-in-law: Tom Lamers, Dr. Raymond G. Look and Lee Schoenke. The Funeral Mass will be held at 6 p.m. Wednesday, February 22, 2006, at St. John Nepomucene Catholic Church, Little Chute. Military rites performed by the Jacob Coppus American Legion Post 258 will immediately follow Mass. Friends may call directly at church Wednesday after 2 p.m. until 5:45 p.m. Committal at St. John Cemetery, Little Chute. In lieu of flowers, a memorial is being established.
