- Little Chute - Joseph F. Look, age 91, died Saturday, February 24, 2018. He was born in Little Chute on September 10, 1926 to the late John and Gertrude (Vanden Boom) Look. Joseph married Rosella Reynebeau on September 30, 1947 at St. John Nepomucene Catholic Church. She preceded him in death on January 15, 2018 after 70 years of marriage. He proudly served his country in the U.S. Army Air Forces during World War II. Joe was employed and later owned Look's Meat Market for 41 years prior to his retirement. He played in the Little Chute Community Band for 25 years, was a lifelong member of St. John Church and a member of the Jacob Coppus American Legion Post 258 for over 60 years. Joe loved planting and watching his flowers bloom. In his earlier years, he greatly enjoyed spending time at the cottage with his family.
Joe is survived by his children: Jean (Dan) Mittag, Appleton; Ken (Karen), Appleton; Barb Hietpas, Kaukauna; and Diane (Don) Verbruggen, Kaukauna; daughter-in-law, Jackie Look, Kaukauna; grandchildren: Paul, Jon, and Amy Look; Matt (Kristen) Mittag and Rachel (Ryan) Garlock; Dan (Robin) Look, Jamie Brace; Rose (Kevin) Erdman; Andy (Laura) Hietpas; Erin (Ben) Dercks, Jeff (Adria) Verbruggen and Laura Verbruggen; great grandchildren: Mason, Alexa, Jack, Gaven, Faythe, Carissa, Kaylee, Kaleb, Cole, Crystal, Cody, Ariah, Madeline and Aaron; siblings: LaVerne Van Lankvelt, Joan Regli and Tom Look; and brothers and sisters-in-law: Orion (Lois), Lucille and Charlotte Reynebeau. He is further survived by many nieces, nephews and friends.
In addition to his parents and wife, Rosella, Joe was preceded in death by his son, Gary Look; son-in-law, Tim Hietpas; granddaughter, Carla Howard; sister: Lea (Boyd) Dunn; and brothers and sisters-in-law: Fred Regli, Hank Van Lankvelt, Florence (Ken) Van Hoof, Myrtle (George Roovers), Joe Reynebeau, Virgil Reynebeau and Bernice (Marty) Van Domelin.
Visitation will be held Friday, March 2, 2018 at ST. JOHN NEPOMUCENE CATHOLIC CHURCH (323 Pine St. Little Chute) beginning at 3:00 p.m. until time of Mass at 5:00 p.m. The Rev. Msgr. James Vanden Hogen will officiate. Military rites, conducted by the Jacob Coppus American Legion Post 258, will immediately follow. Committal St. John Cemetery. Above all, Dad cherished his wife Rosella, the true love of his life, more than life itself. He was a proud husband, father and grandfather and will be greatly missed. He is with you now Mom, we will miss you both dearly.
